What is Sofwave Skin Tightening?

SofWave is a non-surgical ultrasound treatment available at Le Petit Saint in Mayfair. It uses SUPERB™ (Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam) technology to deliver energy around 1.5mm beneath the skin, supporting the body's own collagen renewal for a smoother, firmer appearance over time.

SofWave directs ultrasound energy to the mid-dermis, the layer of skin where collagen is produced. This stimulates a natural renewal process rather than physically altering the skin's surface. The treatment's SofCool™ cooling system is used throughout to help keep you comfortable during the session.

SofWave can be used across the full face, brow, jawline, submental (under-chin) area and neck, depending on where you are noticing mild to moderate skin laxity.

SofWave is performed by our Aesthetic Doctors. Every treatment is administered following a private consultation at our Mayfair clinic, 49 Charles Street, London W1J 5EN, where your Aesthetic Doctor will assess your skin quality, medical background and aesthetic goals before recommending a tailored approach.

SofWave is generally well suited to those noticing mild to moderate skin laxity in the lower face, jawline or neck, and who are looking for a non-invasive alternative to surgery with no downtime. SofWave uses a built-in cooling system, SofCool™, to help maintain comfort throughout treatment. Most patients describe sensations of warmth or tingling rather than pain. Your practitioner can talk you through what to expect at your consultation.

SofWave involves no incisions and no formal downtime. Normal activities can usually resume immediately, though we recommend avoiding heat, vigorous exercise and strong topical products for the first 24 hours, while hydrating skincare and daily sunscreen are encouraged.

Visible results typically begin from around one week, with continued improvement over approximately 12 weeks as collagen renewal progresses. Results vary between individuals, and your practitioner will discuss a realistic timeline with you at consultation.
